I am a psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, passionate about promoting mental health and emotional well-being. With experience conducting over 600+ counseling sessions, I specialize in psychotherapy, neuropsychological testing, and research.

My expertise spans working with children and adolescents facing conduct issues, learning disabilities, trauma, and emotional regulation challenges. I am skilled in providing family therapy, helping to foster healthier relationships and improve family dynamics. My practice also involves administering psychological assessments, employing CBT techniques, and offering trauma-informed care to support individuals through their healing journey. I operate from a trauma- informed, queer affirmative and feminist lens.

I am committed to delivering personalized therapeutic support and promoting emotional resilience. Beyond my clinical work, I am a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, blending creativity with somatic work in my therapeutic approach.

Initial Session – Screening and Case History

 

The first session focuses on building rapport and understanding the client’s concerns. It includes case history taking and initial psychological screening. This session helps in identifying key areas for intervention and setting therapy goals.

Ongoing Therapy Sessions

The number and frequency of sessions are determined based on the client’s individual needs and progress.

Each session includes:

  • A brief check-in on the client’s current state
  • Focused therapeutic work using an evidence-based approach
  • Exploration of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors
  • Development of coping strategies and personal insight
  • Summary and closure with optional homework or reflection
